Yahoo Food - anything for the wine lover?
Yahoo has launched its food and drink portal. As reports “Yahoo Food includes some original content, but also includes content “from partners, including Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Wolfgang Puck, Everyday with Rachael Ray, Food & Wine, Epicurious, Cook’s Illustrated and Reader’s Digest.” Rachael’s recipes are prominently featured on the page of the site” It is of course all geared to the US - thanksgiving, how to cave a turkey, table steetings and such.
Is there anything for the wine lover though?
From the front page it isn’t that easy to spot anything wine focused at all; until the wacking great banner at the top changes to that is! (This content is taken from )
Recommendations include Toques et Clochers Crémant de Limoux NV ($16), 2004 Wild Bunch California White ($10) and 2003 Finca Antigua Tempranillo ($10). It takes a while of course to ‘learn’ a sites navigation but the is a touch on the difficult side to discover. Once found though content abounds. Basically though if you already read the wine section from Food and Wine Magazine then there is nothing original here to read…
