Moncaro VerdicchioThe Ready in 30 section of the latest issue of Olive Magazine (October 2006) offers a selection of recipes with which they suggest a specific wine.

Even if you do not intend to slavishly follow the recipes the wine recommendations can be viewed as wines to try (they are generally under a fiver so no excuse for experimenting with something new) and as pointers to what wine to try with similar sounding dishes.
